Frank Edwin Spitz, 88, passed away on March 14, 2026 in St. Augustine, FL. Frank was born on July 5, 1937 in Buffalo, NY to Frank and Ruth Spitz.Frank worked for Mobil Chemical in Rochester, NY before retiring. He was called out of retirement to work for Vanguard Plastics. During this time, he relocated from Marion, NY to Jacksonville, FL. While working for Vanguard, he was a corporate engineer, setting up new manufacturing plants across the United States for the company.After his second retirement, he enjoyed staying busy with many different interests including HAM radios, woodworking, 3D model printing, machine embroidery, and his computers, among many others.Frank is survived by his 3 sons, Keith, Tom (Beth) and Jeff (Gina) Spitz; brothers Ted and George Spitz; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Frank is preceded in death by his wife Shelley, sister Pat Desain and brother Rodney Spitz.A service will be held at 1pm on Saturday April 11, 2026, at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home, Crescent City 402 Cypress Ave Crescent City, FL 32112 with a gathering of family and friends one half hour prior to the service.Arrangements were trusted to Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home, Crescent City,
