One of Alfred Hitchcock's most suspenseful and influential thrillers, The Birds begins with a chance encounter between socialite Melanie Daniels and attorney Mitch Brenner. When Melanie follows Mitch to the quiet coastal community of Bodega Bay, an unsettling series of events unfolds as birds begin behaving in increasingly strange and violent ways. What starts as isolated incidents soon escalates into a terrifying struggle for survival, leaving residents searching for answers that never come. Blending psychological tension, memorable visual storytelling, and an atmosphere of mounting dread, The Birds remains a landmark of American cinema more than 60 years after its release.
