Join FreeSt. Petersburg, FL (March 2025) – In celebration of Women’s History Month, the City of St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department is proud to host Her Story, Out Future: Women Leading the Way on Wednesday, March 26, at 1 p.m. at the Sunshine Senior Center, 330 5th St. N. The event will spotlight five inspiring women from the City of St. Petersburg, each of whom has made a significant impact in their respective fields. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear their personal stories, learn what drives them, and experience an afternoon of empowerment and recognition for the contributions of women in our community. Feature speakers include: Amber Boulding, Emergency Management Manager, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue Deborah Figgs-Sanders, City Council Member, District 5 Brandi Gabbard, City Council Member, District 2 Lisset Hanewicz, City Council Vice Chair, District 4 Barbara Stalbird, Parks & Field Operations Superintendent, St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department The event is free and open to the public.
