Voting Assistance Officer (VAO) Workshop

Help ensure every voice is heard by becoming a trained Voting Assistance Officer (VAO). This interactive workshop, presented through the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), provides the knowledge and resources needed to assist Service Members, military families, and DoD civilians with the federal voting process. Designed for individuals serving at the installation or unit level across all branches of service, this hands-on training covers voting procedures, available resources, and best practices for supporting voters throughout the election process. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from FVAP subject matter experts. Whether you're a newly appointed VAO or looking to strengthen your understanding of the program, this workshop will help you confidently perform your voting assistance duties and support your military community.
