The Spine North Challenger Fundraiser

During that time, he has completed the South, North and Full Spine races in both summer and winter, raising an incredible £11,689.30 for Hestia along the way. This last challenge feels like a fitting finale. The Spine Challenger North is a demanding 160-mile race stretching from Hardraw in North Yorkshire to Kirk Yetholm in the Scottish Borders. The route passes through some of the UK’s most striking landscapes, including the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland National Park, Hadrian’s Wall and the Cheviots. It is beautiful, but far from easy. Starting at 18:00 on 14 June 2026, Rob will have 90 hours to reach the finish. Along the way he will climb over 5,000 metres, face unpredictable weather, and manage the effects of fatigue and very little sleep. This race is about more than endurance.
