EMS Medical Control Board

This board is responsible for recommending a medical director for the county EMS system to the EMS Authority and to support the development of necessary rules and regulations governing the county EMS system. The EMS Medical Control Board is made up of 11 members physicians specializing in emergency medicine and trauma and hospital administrators. All citizens appointed by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners or an individual commissioner to any county board, committee, council, or authority must comply with these standards of conduct.
