About This Event

Always wanted to try the potter's wheel? This 8-week beginner class is designed especially for adults who want to slow down, get their hands in clay, and build real skills in a supportive space. We'll cover wedging, centering, coning, drilling, pulling walls, shaping forms like bowls and cylinders, trimming, handle variations, surface decoration and glazing. As the weeks progress, you'll gain confidence, refine your technique, and develop your own style. Learning to throw on the wheel takes time, patience, and consistent practice. We'll be here every step of the way to guide you, answer questions, and help you improve, but your progress ultimately comes from the effort you put in. If you're ready to get your hands dirty, stay curious, and embrace the learning process, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish in eight weeks.
