Artist Reception

Join us at the History Center for the Artist Reception for Terri and Warren Michels and Tim Pulis at the History Center. Their photographs are on display now through the end of September. Terri and Warren Michels are displaying Doors of the World and Where Are You in the World on the main level of the History Center. The Michels' photographs invite visitors to look beyond the image and into the stories each scene holds. From colorful, weathered doorways that have quietly witnessed generations of life to iconic destinations that celebrate the beauty and shared experiences of travel, each photograph encourages reflection, curiosity, and connection. Their work reminds us that whether close to home or across the globe, we are united by a desire for beauty, belonging, and discovery. Tim Pulis has a collection of photographs he's taken around Minneopa State Park. Pulis has always had an interest in Minneopa State Park. A field trip there for an ornithology college course got him hooked on bird watching. Visiting Seppmann Mill sparked his interest in local history. Cross-country skiing helped him develop an appreciation for the outdoors. The Artist Reception is free and open to the public.
