About this event
Join us at Stonewall Farm for beautiful views, local food produced by CC&D's Kitchen Market, music, star gazing, storytelling around the fire pit, and engaging conversation with rural thinkers and doers from across the country. It's our 20th annual CONNECT Event is this year! Though the event has evolved over the last two decades, the idea behind it has always been very simple-connecting is good for everyone, at every scale. When we do this, we shape and share ideas in ways that are meaningful for our communities. In fact, it was at one of our CONNECT events that the idea for using rural downtowns as conference venues came about and thus, Radically Rural was born! This year's CONNECT Event will feature a poster presentation from Merida Brimhall at the North Country Health Consortium highlighting a Northern NH initiative that is building a better, more inclusive, supportive place for teenagers to grow up through youth-adult partnerships, coalition building, and community-led action. Those who have registered for the Radically Rural summit already have this event included in their ticket price.
