Hurricane Readiness Hui

Join us for a discussion about climate change and community resilience. Climate Justice Advocate Honuʻāina Nichols & Climate Outreach Coordinator Atalina Pasi of Lāhui Foundation will be presenting about the impact of climate change on our environment, weather patterns, and communities. Attendees will learn and connect with others about how to prepare for the storm season ahead through community resilience hubs, neighborhood phone trees, emergency alerts, and more. Best suited for adults. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
