Music School of Delaware Performance Series Collab featuring Pyxis

Join us for the first evening of a new four-part concert series bringing DelArt and The Music School of Delaware together! Featuring a variety of musical styles and talented Music School artists and ensembles, the series offers a chance to experience great live music in a welcoming Museum setting. Formed in 2021 by members of the Pyxis Piano Quartet, the PYXIS PIANO TRIO-Luigi Mazzocchi, violin; Jennifer Jie Jin, cello; and Hiroko Yamazaki, piano-continues a rich chamber music tradition, performing works from the sonata, duo, and trio repertoire. The Quartet, founded in 2009, has established itself as a vibrant presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, recognized for compelling, thoughtful, and engaging performances. Music critic Christine Facciolo praised the ensemble, noting that balance, superb intonation, and sensitive interpretation characterized their performance.
