Dominic Moore-Dunson: Black by Nature

Join us for an immersive dance-theatre experience along the 1.2-mile Oxbow Trail during this world premiere commissioned by DANCECleveland. Rooted in Moore‑Dunson's exploration of healing and belonging in nature as a Black man, Black by Nature reimagines the relationship between identity and the outdoor world. The work creates space for reflection, freedom, and connection, guided by an original, jazz‑influenced score performed live by an acoustic ensemble of guitar, saxophone, trumpet, upright bass, and hand percussion.
