Paint and Sip

Join the San Diego History Center for another fun Paint & Sip evening at Gossip Grill (1220 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92103)! Enjoy a guided painting session with local artist Maira Meza (@artehastalamuerte6), sip on great drinks, and learn fun bits of local history from SDHC staff along the way. This month, we'll paint a vibrant palm tree scene inspired by the legacy of Kate Sessions, the pioneering botanist and landscape architect known as the Mother of Balboa Park. Learn how her vision transformed San Diego's landscape through the introduction of diverse plant species and the creation of beautiful public gardens--work that earned her international recognition.
