AWANA

<p><strong>AWANA </strong>is held during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. <strong>AWANA </strong>club is for children <strong>ages 4 through 5th grade</strong>. (During this same time period, <a href=https://www.cccbeatrice.com/youth-ministries.html><strong>JV FOOT</strong></a> is offered for the Middle School students.)<br><br><strong>AWANA </strong>(<strong>A</strong>pproved <strong>W</strong>orkmen <strong>A</strong>re <strong>N</strong>ot <strong>A</strong>shamed from <strong>2 Timothy 2:15</strong>) is a ministry that is filled with life-enriching experiences for young people! Our leaders guide children through age-appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. The goal of <strong>AWANA </strong>is to reach boys and girls for Christ and train them to serve Him.<br><br>Three segments provide start-to-finish adventure in every club meeting! Each has a purpose.<br><br></p><ul><li><strong>GAME TIME</strong> Every <strong>AWANA </strong>Club meeting includes a high-energy Game Time featuring individual and team competition. Game Time unleashes kid's natural energy and enthusiasm. The <strong>AWANA </strong>Game Circle has universal appeal. Kids everywhere love <strong>AWANA </strong>games. Everyone participates.<br><br></li><li><strong>HANDBOOK TIME</strong> Using achievement-oriented curriculum materials, <strong>AWANA </strong>emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. With a trained leader alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Clubbers are rewarded for their achievements as they progress through the handbooks.<br><br></li><li><strong>SONG TIME</strong> During this time, clubbers get to praise God with song.</li></ul>
