Bilingual Parent Partnership Night

To support new bilingual students and their families, the Hampton Bays School District has inaugurated a Bilingual Parent Partnership initiative that invites parents to participate in informative evening sessions. During the sessions, families can learn more about topics such as parent communication, FAFSA, college applications, community resources and how to improve study habits at home. The sessions also feature local community organizations that share information about their resources. Community participants have included Centro Corazon de Maria, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, OLA of Eastern Long Island and the Retreat. Providing catering during the sessions are Hampton Bays High School culinary arts students with chef Conor Curtis. The next Bilingual Parent Partnership session will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. in the Hampton Bays High School Library. All are welcome to attend. Date Added: 1/21/2025
