Join FreeThe City of Erie announced its 2026 summer events during a press conference on April 14, 2026, highlighting a season focused on community, connection, and celebration.This year’s lineup includes the return of CelebrateErie, August 14-16, and Sounds of Summer, along with a redesigned 814 Concert Series in partnership with the City’s Love Your Block program focused on strengthening and empowering neighborhoods. More details, including national headliners, will be announced May 14. The City will also take part in America250PA programming throughout 2026 in collaboration with local organizations to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, including Erie Philharmonic, expERIEnce Children’s Museum, Erie Playhouse, Erie SeaWolves, Hagen History Center, Erie-Western PA Port Authority, VisitErie, Erie Zoo, and Erie Events. As part of this effort, Mayor Devlin announced the return of the July 3 fireworks, along with a new concert event, A 250 Celebration: Lights & Liberty on the Lake, in partnership with Rebich Investments and Erie Events.
