Activity Level: 2 Dr. Sean Merritt, a heartbroken doctor from Toronto, moves to Stewiacke, a town famously located halfway between the Equator and the North Pole, to take a temporary job at the local clinic. When Sean becomes interested in Janine Babineau, a local waitress, this inadvertently stirs the lives of her close-knit group of friends: Vi, Rita, and Mary Ellen.
