Though it closed in 1989, its legacy lives on through the Kindred Spirits Dance, revived in 2002 to support local LGBTQ+ nonprofits. Benefiting Local LGBTQ+ Women ServicesThe Kindred Spirits Dance benefits the Montrose Center's LGBTQ+ women's programs, including mental and behavioral health services, 24-hour crisis intervention, in-home support for LGBTQ+ women experiencing disabilities or illness, and LGBTQ+ senior services.
