About This Event

Educators are invited to join the Museum for an immersive two-day professional learning experience exploring the presidency and assassination of John F. Kennedy through historical inquiry, media literacy and critical thinking. Participants engage directly with primary sources, oral histories and Museum exhibitions to examine how narratives are formed, challenged and sustained -- then and now. Designed for Grades 6-12 Social Studies, ELA and Humanities teachers, this institute offers 12 CPE hours and equips educators with classroom-ready tools including TEKS and C3-aligned lesson plans, curated primary source sets and discussion protocol templates. Registration includes two full days of professional learning, Museum admission, breakfast and refreshments both days and access to a post-seminar digital resource toolkit. Space is limited to 90 participants.
