Wilson Bruce Evans Home Historical Society Annual Meeting - Sept 19 The Evans Home annual meeting will be hosted in the Oberlin Underground Railroad Center, 291 South Main Street (behind McDonalds), Saturday, September 19, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This meeting is free and open to the public. As the rehabilitation of the Evans House nears completion, EHHS invites the community to celebrate their theme this year: ALMOST HOME! Highlights of the meeting will include: Bestowal of Legacy Guardian Award on Adenike Sharpley, Historian and Creator of Juneteenth Oberlin Bestowal of Heritage Guardian Award on Wendy Hoge Naylor, Historic Preservation Consultant Exhibiting Courage and Resilience in Challenging Times: The Stories Told by the Evans House and Grounds, a presentation by the principals of Agnes Studio, Romano & Min Projects, and Deru Landscape Voting members of the Evans Home Historical Society should look for a digital ballot in their email inbox. Members can also vote in person by paper ballot at the Annual Meeting.
