Public Hearing – Lenoir County FY 2026-2027 Budget

In accordance with N.C.G.S. 159-12(b) for the purpose of taking comments from the public with regards to the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget, as proposed and submitted by the County Manager to the Board of Commissioners on May 18, 2026, the Lenoir County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026, during the regular meeting of the Commissioners which begins at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Chambers located at 101 N Queen Street, Kinston, NC, Second Floor, Room 201. At the time of the public hearing, the Board may adopt the FY 2026-2027 budget and budget ordinance, or they may adopt these measures later, but no later than June 30, 2026. Copies of the budget and budget summaries are available in the County Manager’s Office, located, at 101 N. Queen St., Kinston, NC, Second Floor. The budget may also be accessed on the County’s web page at lenoircountync.gov.
