AVAILABILITY OF 2026/2027 BUDGET Please be advised that the proposed FY 2026/2027 Budget for Avery County is available for public inspection in the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, Avery Cooperative Extension Office, 661 Vale Rd., Newland, NC. Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.   PUBLIC HEARING – FY 2026/2027 BUDGET Be further advised that, as authorized by N.C.G.S. 159-12(b), the Avery County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed FY 2026/2027 Budget for Avery County. This Hearing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Avery Community Center, 661 Vale Rd., Newland, NC. The public is invited to attend and comment.
