Join us on Saturday 10/3 at 6pm in the Eynon Ballroom for the3rd Annual Betty Bowe Castor '63 Lecture and Reception. Our evening withDr. Chuka Onwumechili promises to be a fun and educationalcelebration of the rich cultural and diverse history of the African diaspora.This year's featured keynote speaker is Dr. Chuka Onwumechili, a professor ofcommunication at Howard University, who specializes in the history of sportsand politics in Africa. Dr. Chuka Onwumechili is particularlyknowledgeable about African soccer, and his lecture will include the recentlyconcluded FIFA Men's World Cup in historical perspective, as well as a lookahead to the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup.
