About this event
Catch opening weekend of Heathers: The Musical at Gainesville Community Playhouse. Based on the cult-classic 1988 film, this darkly comedic rock musical follows high school student Veronica Sawyer as she navigates the pressures of high school and a dangerous romance that challenges her sense of identity. With a memorable rock score and sharp humor, the production explores teen rebellion and the lasting impact of bullying. Performances continue through August 9 with evening and weekend matinee showtimes. Sponsored in part by Visit Gainesville, Alachua County.
