Summer Place: Ordinary Time. Extraordinary Community.

Welcome to Summer Place! If you are new to Christ Church Cathedral, Summer Place is our beloved annual tradition that transforms the liturgical season of Ordinary Time into an extraordinary season of connection. For decades, the 10:00 a.m. hour between our morning services has been a sacred space for our community to slow down, share a table, and enjoy life together during the warmer months. This year, Summer Place is truly a community-wide effort. Instead of individual committees taking shifts, our entire Cathedral family is hosting. Everyone is invited to gather around the table for coffee, light bites, and quality time with old and new friends. There is a Place for Everyone Looking for a way to plug in? We invite you to join the team! We are looking for friendly faces to help us serve the table, greet newcomers, and bring the community together. If you love to bake or want to contribute snacks, we would love to have your hands involved. Additionally, we are thrilled to feature Art Space each week--a creative hands-on corner for children and an open invitation to create alongside others who are learning, exploring, and trying something new together.
