About this event
In his great essay Walking, Henry David Thoreau writes: in Wildness is the preservation of the world. There is wildness all around us, even here in the DFW metroplex. Join Dr. Kathryn Warren on a walk through the Molly Hollar Wildscape at Veterans Park. Students may read Walking ahead of time. On the walk, we'll discuss Thoreau's ideas while experiencing the unique ecology of the cross timbers. Weather-permitting, wear closed-toed shoes and don't forget your water bottle! Students are responsible for transportation. Sign up Here!
