Workshop: Praires 101

This interactive workshop will feature 5 different speakers who are all local experts and professionals in the field. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Topics will include why prairies matter, what a healthy prairie looks like, how to maintain a prairie, best practices for restoration from the landowner's perspective, and night skies/ light pollution impact.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Participants will be provided with guides, local resources, and knowledge about prairie restoration, native plant identification, water quality, light pollution impacts, how to keep prairies healthy, wildlife management, small acreage, and the benefits of restoration.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
