Join FreeJob DutiesThe Summer Camp Teacher works with ages 7-12 and is expected to be knowledgeable in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Each Teacher is expected to contribute to a working environment that is friendly, respectful, open, and honest. Teachers are responsible for creating age-appropriate lessons weekly within a defined curriculum area of STEM. for each day of camp. Summer Camp staff work together to share ideas and to develop joint projects and activities. Teachers are responsible for providing a quality education and fun activities for children and communicating with families. Hours: 8 am-5 pm - M- F. Timeframe: June 29, 2026- July 31, 2026 M- FKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:General knowledge of modern principles and practices of education. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Director. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; the ability to develop and maintain strong, effective working relationships with the community through extensive contact with parents, instructors, and participants; and skilled management of multiple programs and a desire to build upon the existing program base. Knowledge of first aid practices and techniques.Desirable Experience and Training2 Years College Degree or equivalent: (4) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Teacher license or certifications are preferred.
