Faculty Training: T-REX CUNY Equivalency Review Module (ERM)

Beginning Fall 2026, all CUNY course credit equivalency requests must be submitted through the CUNY Equivalency Review Module (ERM). The Equivalency Review Module (ERM) is CUNY's centralized system for submitting, reviewing, and approving course equivalency requests across colleges. ERM will provide a more consistent and transparent process for evaluating transfer coursework and documenting equivalency decisions. Faculty and academic departments involved in reviewing course equivalencies will use ERM to receive, evaluate, and respond to requests. This session covers the full ERM workflow from submission through institutional review to final CUNYfirst confirmation, along with an overview of this Fall's enhancements -- including AI-assisted matching for unevaluated courses and a streamlined end-to-end unevaluated workflow, among others.
