Celebration of Creation Care in the NCCUMC

From 2024-2026, the Creation Care Team has awarded $20,853 through 33 grants. We'll highlight the 33 grantee projects and focus on 6 grantees who will inspire you with their other creation care projects in addition to the grant-funded projects. Grants have helped pay for: NCCUMC Media Center resources you can check out Community gardens, prayer gardens, pollinator gardens (some became National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat) Energy saving efforts (LEDs, motion sensors, electrical upgrades) Egg production Creation care movie nights Earth Festival display table Craft projects to repurpose objects into bird feeders and pollinator watering stations Come to this celebration to gain ideas for your own projects and support for the journey: Monday, August 31, 2026, 7:00-8:00 pm.
