Member Studio Visit & Private Collection Tour with Sara Carter Art in Context Event Series

Advocate Members and above are invited to an intimate studio visit and private collection tour with Sara Carter, Austin-based abstract painter, collector, and featured 2023 Art Dinner auction artist. Go inside Carter's creative world beginning with a rare glimpse into her studio, and hear directly from the artist about her practice, process, and approach to abstraction. Tethering between the physical and spiritual, Carter's imbues her vibrant paintings with brilliant tones and expressive energy. Following the studio visit, explore Carter's home and personal art collection. Conceived as an environment where art, architecture, and nature intersect, the residence offers a rare glimpse into how an artist and collector lives with art, and how collecting can become a creative practice of its own. Light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited. Advance registration is required. The event address and arrival instructions will be shared with registered guests prior to the program.
