Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society Weekend - Blackwater Falls State Park

Join the Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society for a weekend of out-of-this-world exploration! Guest speakers from West Virginia University, Marshall University, Shawnee State University and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory will cover astronomical topics for all interest levels during the day, including special interest topics such as astrophotography. Star parties will be held in the evenings (weather permitting) at the Harold Walters Nature Center. Come out and enjoy the scenic beauty of West Virginia and the amazing hospitality of our state parks and forests. This event is free and open to the public.
