Funeral Mass of the Resurrection

November 23, 1933 - November 7, 2023 Letizia M. Lijoi, 89, of Hollywood, passed away November 7, 2023.  Born on November 23, 1933 in Iasca, Italy, Letizia emigrated to the United States in 1950 and embraced her new country as her own.  She was married in Italy to Ardito Lijoi and they raised three sons in Euclid, Ohio, relocating to Florida in 1970.  For 29 years Letizia made her career in retail sales for Burdines, Jordan Marsh and Macy’s.  Her favorite hobbies included tending her flower garden and cooking for family gatherings.  No one ever left her home hungry or without a covered dish for later.    She is survived by sons Louis (Kim), Vincent (Dawn) and Mario (Kendra), four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.      The family will be receiving friends from 4 – 7 pm on Tuesday, November 14, at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd.  A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 15, at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street.  Letizia will be laid to rest at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
