Haunted Spirits and Shadows at Swetland

On Friday October 16th and Saturday October 17th from 7pm-9pm the Luzerne County Historical Society will hold a brand new event Haunted Spirits and Shadows at Swetland at the Swetland Homestead, 885 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, PA 18644. Join us for two spooky nights at Swetland, featuring bizarre (but true) local folklore, macabre artifacts from the LCHS Museum collection, and a Victorian funeral in the parlor. In addition, visitors will learn about mourning traditions and symbolism, and hear some of the dark stories of our regions past, through period correct re-enactors, all in the ambiance of the historic 1803 Swetland Homestead.
