Join FreeJoin us to celebrate a new plant feature within the Garden: Little Warren Grove, a collection of circular raised bed gardens hosting a range of plants native to North American bogs, including carnivorous plants and their allies. Located adjacent to the park's main driveway, Little Warren Grove was established in 2026 thanks to a generous donation of plants and wisdom from Jason Austen and Bill Smith of Warren Grove, New Jersey. This garden also connects us to early botanic research done by the Bartram family beginning in the 1730s as well as historic and ongoing ecological restoration and land management leadership by the Waccamaw Siouan people. Hear from Director of Horticulture Mandy Katz, as well as bog plant experts Jason Austen and Bill Smith about the significance of these plants and their place within the wider ecosystem. No registration needed. This event is rain or shine. ACCESSIBILITY- This event will take place at the Little Warren Grove bog garden, an outdoor space adjacent to a paved path that is accessible via wheelchair. It is located directly next to Harley Drive outside of the Garden's Admin building, which is located by the 54th and Lindbergh entrance. It is about a 2-minute walk from the main Visitor Parking Loop. Gendered, multi-stall public restrooms are located about a 3-minute walk away and all-gender single restrooms are located in the Admin office. Both are ADA-accessible. We're happy to make accommodations for guests with mobility limitations. Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths should be used at your own discretion. If you have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out ahead of time to info@bartramsgarden.org. For more information about planning your visit, see bartramsgarden.org/visit
