Future of Faith: Communities of Deep Conversation

In this fraught time, when loneliness is epidemic, when fear can lead to silence or dwelling on the superficial, when political polarization pulls us into circles of sameness creating an us vs. them, the work of sustaining communities of deep conversation is essential and it is hard. In our time together, we will explore the gifts of the UCC that nurture theological humility and shared leadership, the particular challenges of this time, and the image of the mobius strip. How do we cultivate empathy and imagination, honoring differences and practicing discernment, as we clarify our sense of communal and individual purpose?
