Innocenti: The Innocent Ones Film Screening

Innocenti chronicles daily life in Italy's Abruzzo region during the nine-month German occupation of World War II through the firsthand stories of those who lived it. Featuring never-before-seen interviews and photographs from a chapter of history that is too often overlooked, the documentary shares firsthand accounts from survivors who were children during the German occupation. Their moving and deeply personal stories reveal the resilience, courage, and strength of the human spirit. Following the screening, Dr. Steve Mancini will discuss the film with Melissa E. About the Director Dr. Steve Mancini is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer and Information Systems at Robert Morris University. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from Liberty University as well as a master's degree with a concentration in Software Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has published various journal articles and spoken at conferences and events all over the world. Mancini is also an international, award-winning Talking Business and Life, available on all major streaming services. He currently serves as Pittsburgh's Honorary Consul of Italy and represents the tri-state area's Italian American community.
