About this event
Are you interested in leveling up your water-wise gardening skills but not sure where to start? Join Green Spaces Alliance for a hands-on morning at Phil Hardberger Park Gardens, where you’ll learn how to propagate and maintain the tough, water-wise plants that make South Texas landscapes thrive. We'll kick things off with a succulent garden clean-up, where you'll build practical skills in native cactus gardening, sustainable water use, and intentional garden design. Then we'll walk through how to divide and propagate a tree cholla — and everyone goes home with their own cutting to start their very own succulent garden. Please wear closed-toe shoes, sturdy pants, and bring water and gloves if you have them! Tools and additional gloves will be provided.
