About this event
Learn to become a professional lifeguard. This course teaches CPR, First Aid, and all the rescue techniques. This class is offered to individuals 15 years and older. This will be a blended learning course with instruction both online and in the pool. Participants must be available to attend all in-person training sessions. Required pre-test is a 200-meter swim (8 lengths), a two-minute water tread without hands, and retrieving a ten-pound brick from the bottom of the pool in 9 feet or deeper. Successful candidates will be strongly considered for employment as a Lifeguard for the MRD.
