Latine Heritage Month Opening Ceremony

In the Latine Heritage Month Opening Ceremony, attendees can expect an afternoon of celebration featuring cultural performers, food, opening remarks, and a special recognition of this year's Latine Heritage Month hero, Dolores Huerta. During the program, we will highlight her lifelong contributions to social justice, labor rights, and community empowerment, as well as her message of unity reflected in this year's theme, Unidos, Somos Más (Together, We Are More). This recognition will help set the tone for the month and inspire participants to reflect on the strength of collective action and community. The event will also showcase the richness and diversity of Latine cultures through music, performances, and community engagement opportunities.
