Day Retreat at Villa de Matel

Saturday, October 17 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Villa de Matel, 6510 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023 Cost: $15 | Registration required Be Still and Be Not Afraid Step away from the noise and busyness of daily life for a day of quiet, prayer, and rest in the presence of God. Led by Denice Foose, this day retreat at Villa de Matel invites us to practice being quiet with God and with one another. Together, we'll make space in our souls to draw nearer to the Lord and rest more deeply in our identity as God's beloved children--the foundation of a life in which we can be not afraid. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants will have an opportunity to slow down, listen, pray, and simply be present. A silent lunch will be provided, allowing the spirit of contemplation to continue as we share a meal together. The cost is $15 per person, with all proceeds donated directly to Villa de Matel.
