First Saturday Community Art Class

On the first Saturday of each month, the Waimea Arts Council (WAC), in partnership with Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library, instructs a class on a variety of art forms. WAC artists create monthly classes about art, from watercolors to sculpting. The classes are held in the library meeting room, with all supplies provided by the Waimea Arts Council. Class size is limited and advance registration is required for each class. Come in person or call Thelma Parker Library at 808-887-6067 to register. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
