Come and See: Following Jesus in the Episcopal Church

What does it mean to follow Jesus in the Episcopal Church? Over six Sundays, Come and See offers an introduction to Christian faith and life as taught and practiced in the Anglican tradition. Together, we'll explore some of the foundations of our faith--including prayer, worship, Scripture, and the life of the Church--and consider how these practices draw us more deeply into relationship with God. Whether you are new to the Episcopal Church, exploring Christianity, or simply hoping to deepen your understanding of your faith, this class is an opportunity to ask questions, learn in community, and discover more about the way God works through the Church to bring us into deeper union with Christ through the Holy Spirit. Come and See is led by Canon Bradley Varnell and meets Sundays, October 11 through November 15, from 12:45-2 p.m. in the McGehee Conference Room. A light lunch will be served, and childcare is provided. Registration is required.
