Humane Society 5K Run, Walk, Wag! Dog hike & Swim - Cacapon Resort State Park

📍Starting point: near Cacapon Lodge Entrance A weekend for the dog lovers at Cacapon Resort State Park! Sign up in advance or same day for a 5K run, walk, wag to support the local Morgan County Humane Society. The race begins at 10 a.m. Register West Furginia Park Ranger Hike 9:30 a.m. Join our park naturalist at the nature center for a hike with your furry friend. Learn about our new program Westfurginia Park Ranger Program to learn leave no trace principles while enjoying our park. Earn a certificate and dog tag! https://wvstateparks.com/west-furginia-ranger/ Dog Swim at Cacapon Beach 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Don't miss the only opportunity for your dog to swim at the beach! Entrance to the beach will be by the snack bar. Make sure to park in the nature center circle and use parking closest to the playground. Free event. Dogs must be on a leash.
