Blessing of the Animals

4:00-5:00 p.m. Nancy's Garden Bring your animal companions to Christ Church Cathedral for our annual Blessing of the Animals! In remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi, we gather with our brother and sister creatures and give thanks for the animals who share our lives and help draw us into God's compassionate, creative presence in the world. Dogs, cats, and animal companions of all kinds are invited to join us in Nancy's Garden for this joyful outdoor service and a special blessing. Whether they have paws, feathers, scales, or something in between, bring your beloved companions and join your Cathedral community as we celebrate the animals who enrich our lives. No registration is required.
