Battle Lake Crosswalk Safety Event

Otter Tail County's Safe Communities Coalition will host a crosswalk safety event in downtown Battle Lake from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 26. The event will teach pedestrians how to safely use crosswalks and remind drivers of their role in keeping people safe. The event is being held in partnership with the City of Battle Lake and the Battle Lake Police Department, whose officers plan to attend and help reinforce safe crossing practices.
