About this event
UNC Global Affairs is pleased to partner with the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training (ADST) to host a traveling exhibition on the history of American diplomacy, United States Diplomacy: From Its Beginnings to Today. Created with support from the Una Chapman Cox Foundation, the 21-panel exhibition celebrates diplomatic accomplishments and traces diplomacy's role across America's 250-year history, from Benjamin Franklin's mission to Paris during the Revolutionary War, to 21st-century challenges such as transnational terrorism, climate change and global health. The exhibition begins during the opening reception for Diplomacy Week 2026 on Monday, Sept. 28, and will be on display in the FedEx Global Education Center until Friday, Oct. 2.
