About this event
ARGET AUDIENCE: All First Responders, EMS Personnel, Security Personnel, Law Enforcement and Healthcare Professionals. WHEN: 8:00 AM on the 19th of October through the 23rd of October 2026 WHERE: Room 109 of Helderman Hall located on the Gadsden Campus of Gadsden State Community College. COST: $500.00 per student. 40 hours of continued education will be awarded upon completion of the course. This course has been approved by the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) as a recognized training course. 10 hours of classroom instruction consist of: Introduction to TEMS History of TEMS Benefits and Legal Aspects of TEMS Methodology and Zones of Care Emergency Medicine of TEMS Mental Health of First Responders Environmental Emergencies & Hazards Cadaver Lab 30 hours of Tactical Team “Field Operations” include: Introduction to Tactical Team Operations Tactical Team Movements Explosive Ordnance & Breaching Techniques Room Clearing Hostage Rescue Operations Introduction to Rescue Task Force Operations FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE OR QUESTIONS ABOUT ENROLLING, PLEASE EMAIL: tacmedal@gmail.com.
