About this event

In this 4-week progression camp, you'll get comfortable in all aspects of trail riding. Each week we'll work through different skills to progress our confidence on mountain biking trails. The camp will start with the essentials and move on to more specific skills like cornering, jumps, and technical riding. You can book one clinic or enroll in them all! Day 1 - Essentials Learn all the essentials to become a better rider! We cover bike safety checks, gear, the three essentials to mountain biking, riding positions, mounting/dismounting, braking techniques, shifting, and trail etiquette. Coler's experienced instructor will guide you through the skills you need to gain confidence on your bike and build a solid base of mountain biking skills. This class was designed for those who are new to mountain biking or haven't had formal instruction previously. Day 2 - Cornering Coler's Mountain Biking Intro to Cornering Class is the perfect place for you to expand your skill set. Coler's experienced instructor will walk you through all aspects of cornering - including body position, bike position, and more. This class will help provide a solid foundation for you to take your skills to the next level! Day 3 - Technical Terrain Coler's Intro to Technical Riding Class is great to get confortable on more technical features like rock gardens. Coler's experienced instructor will walk you through all aspects of navigating roots and rocks- including body position, bike body separation and more. This class will help provide a solid foundation for you to take your skills to the next level! Day 4 - Jumps Ready to land those jumps? Coler's Intro to Jumps Class is the perfect place for you to expand your skill set. Coler's experienced instructor will walk you through all aspects of navigating jumps- including body position, bike position, and landing.
