This summer, fill your calendar with some entertainment and get out of the Arizona heat as Stardust Theatre welcomes a great lineup of talented musicians, along with a hilarious comedy act, to perform in Sun City West as part of the Live At Stardust summer event! Taking place inside the air conditioned Stardust Theatre, located on the Kuentz Recreation Center, members can enjoy a variety of shows on Thursdays during the months of June, July and August at 2 p.m. Doors for each show open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 per show and go on sale six weeks before the show date for that performer. Enjoy a welcoming mix of oldies, familiar classics, novelty, and show tunes performed by a seven-member flute choir. The CAFE flutists will introduce the fascinating silver flute family--from the piccolo to the impressive 10-foot-long contrabass flute--while sharing engaging stories about the music, composers, and cultures behind the selections. Audience members are invited to participate by holding a demonstration flute, asking questions, and connecting with the musicians during a friendly Q&A. This relaxed, educational concert celebrates community, curiosity, and the joy of live music--perfect for seniors and music lovers of all ages Wolf Pac Performing Thursday, July 9 Tickets available: Monday, May 25 Wolff Pac formed 4 years ago and over that time has grown into the popular band it is today. The band is comprised of 4 seasoned musicians based out of the west Phoenix valley. The material presented is a variety of popular danceable classic rock, pop, and a little country ranging from the 70s through today. All 4 members contribute to the vocals and love what they do. Burrows who performs jazz-inspired versions of rock 'n' roll, pop, and R&B tunes of the 50s and 60s. You'll hear swinging covers of hits by Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Fats Domino, Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke and many more. And between the hits, T.A. keeps things lively with humorous anecdotes and lively banter. Featuring legendary 50s and 60s oldies with a sparkling new sound and lots of laughs, SWINGIN' THE OLDIES is sure to be a swingin' good time for everyone! FollowFollow Sib & Friends Comedy Act Performing Thursday, Aug. 6 Tickets available: Monday, June 22 A mix of comedians from all walks of life, covering relatable topics like work, relationships, parenting, and current events. Sib (Mark Sibbitt) is a comedian, writer, and professional host with over 25 years of creative writing experience, and more than a decade performing stand-up. Winner of multiple competitions that no one's ever heard of, Sib's material focuses on his unique upbringing being raised by his grandparents in the Midwest, and his current life situation as a 40-something who's never married, had kids, or fully committed to anything more than a dog or cactus. Sib has performed all over the country and will take you on a hilarious ride with a glimpse into the road less traveled. Joining Sib will be Host Mike Yarnall, Comedy genius Kerry Wells and humorously entertaining Franky Rodriguez. Wild & Mild AZ Performing Thursday, Aug. 20 Tickets available: Monday, July 6 Wild & Mild AZ is a soulful group deeply rooted in the timeless sounds of Motown, blending classic soul with today's musical flavor. Their style captures what would have undoubtedly been part of the Motown movement had they lived in that golden era---smooth harmonies, heartfelt storytelling and irresistible groove. But don't be surprised if you hear a splash of soulish country along the way---after all, Wild and Mild Az is country-bred and born right here in Arizona.
